Prof. Johnson Olusanmi KOMOLAFE

Prof. Johnson O. Komolafe is the Medical Director of Ayomide Women’s Health Specialist Hospital & IVF Centre and also occupies a chair of Professor of Reproductive Medicine ,Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Osun State University. An alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He holds Master of Science degree in Biotechnology of Human Reproduction from University of Valencia and MD degree and fellow of the National Postgraduate College, Faculty of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He has chapters in three medical books & thirty-two published academic articles.
He received advanced training in assisted reproductive techniques at the Reproductive Medicine unit of Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa under the supervision of Prof Silke Dyer as head of unit, and was a visiting academic to the department of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, University of Cape Town in 2009. He also received advanced skills in Gynae endoscopy at the presitigious World Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi under tutelage of Dr R.K,Mishra, India in 2015. . Prof Komolafe has brought joy to numerous families with deployment of his skills in reproductive medicine & gynae endoscopy. 278 live births have been recorded and still counting with many advanced gynae endosurgical procedures successfully done both at the Uniosun Teaching hospital wing and Ayomide Women’s Health specialist Hospital
Prof Johnson Komolafe has been part of AGES since inception and now serves as the South West Coordinator in the 2025/2026 year
Dr. Henry Idemudia Eboh

Dr. Henry Idemudia Eboh, FMCOG, is a Consultant OBGYN and Endoscopic Surgeon with dedicated expertise in minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery and Assisted Reproductive Technology. He is the Medical Director of Maviscope Hospital & Fertility Centre, Benin City, Nigeria.
A Fellow of the Medical College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr. Eboh’s clinical practice covers Endoscopy and Reproductive Medicine, integrating modern minimally invasive techniques to improve fertility outcomes in low-resource settings.
Dr. Eboh is passionate about capacity building, surgical training, and promoting safe, evidence-based gynaecological endoscopy in Nigeria. He contributes actively to mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative development within the AGES community.

Dr. Sekinat Asake, RAJI

Dr. Raji Sekinat Asake is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgeon (MIGS) at the National Hospital Abuja. She is also a visiting consultant at Garki Hospital Abuja and a lecturer at Nile University, Abuja.
She obtained her MBBS from LAUTECH in 2009, followed by MWACS in 2016 and FMCOG in 2022 at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria. She also holds an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from Pius Hospital in collaboration with Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany, and a Leadership & Management in Health (LMIH) certification from the University of Washington. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Niger Delta University (NDU).
Dr. Raji’s professional interests center on minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery, particularly in the management of endometriosis.

Prof. Ibrahim Sanusi

Prof. Ibrahim Sanusi is presently a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist/Minimal Access Surgeon and Deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (Clinical Services), University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. He is also a Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Sub-Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medical Sciences, University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. He graduated from the University of Jos Nigeria, with MB; BS degree, in 2001. He obtained Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FMCOG) in 2011, Fellowship of the International College of Surgeons (FICS) in 2016, Masters in Health Planning and Management (MHPM) from University of Maiduguri in 2016, Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery, and Fellowship certificate in Assisted Reproductive Techniques from World Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi India in 2016, certificates in Hospital Administration from Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) Beijing, China in 2017, and in Epidemiology and Project Management from University of Washington, USA in 2019. During the period, he held many responsibilities, received many awards, attended and presented many papers at scientific conferences both locally and internationally. He has served as a public health researcher for Nigeria Federal Ministry of Health and other health organizations, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and some development partners. He is an external examiner and board member, faculty of Obstetric and Gynaecology, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, since 2020. He has published over 50 original research articles, contributed chapters in 5 textbooks and presented 15 papers in local and international scientific conferences. His papers are well cited, with 1,199 citations, an h-index of 16 and an i10-index of 19, as of September 2022. He is married to a Paediatrician, and blessed with five children, including a set of twins.
